William E. Hamm will begin his role as the president of the Lutheran Educational Conference of North America on July 1, 2010, replacing Dr. Ralph Wagoner, who is retiring this summer.

LECNA Honored with Wittenberg Award
Paul Wangerin, Executive Director of the Luther Institute, presented the Wittenberg Award to LECNA at the annual President's Meeting in February 2010. The Wittenberg Award recognizes Lutheran laity and clergy for distinguished service to church and society, and in doing so, encourages others to accept the call to service and servant leadership.
