Air and Road Travel

Participantswill be flying into Austin-Bergstrom International Airpirt (ABIA). The airport is approximately 45-60 minutes from the university depending on traffic. There is an airport shuttle system that can take you to your hotel. You may rather wish to rent a car at the airport. Information about both is listed below.

Participants will receive a conference rate at the Holiday Inn Express near the intersection of Pecan Park Boulevard and Hwy 620. Its street address is listed as 12703 FM 620, North Austin, TX, 78750. Phone: 512-249-8166.

Maps and Directions

Directions to Holiday Inn Express at Pecan Park Boulevard and Hwy 620:

• Take I-35 north to Texas Hwy 45 (toll way) which has an entrance just before entering the city of Round Rock on I-35N.
• As you come to the intersection of I-35N and Hwy 45 toll way, look for the Hwy 620 signs. This road runs parallel to the toll way and you won't be paying 75 cents every five miles. It will have intersections along the way but no tolls.
• Take Hwy 620 or Texas Hwy 45 Toll Way WEST; stay on it a long time. You will pass the exit for Parmer Lane.
• If you are on the access road that parallels the toll way, exit at Lake Creek as you approach the enormous 183 interchange. Go through the Lake Creek intersection. The next intersection will be Pecan Park Boulevard. Turn left at Pecan Park Blvd. You will cross a wide intersection as you turn on to Pecan Park Blvd. Once you are through the intersectino, the hotel will be on your right about a half a block down.
• If you are on the Hwy 45 toll way, pass the Lake Creek exit and immediately get into the left lane as you approach the gigantic interchange. This will take you to Pecan Park Boulevard. Turn left at Pecan Park Blvd. You will cross a wide intersection as you turn on to Pecan Park Blvd. Once you are through the intersection, the hotel will be on your right about a half block down.

Directions to Concordia University from the hotel:

• Exit the hotel and turn left on to Pecan Park Boulevard. You will be facing Hwy 620. Go through that intersection and turn left onto Hwy 620. You will be facing west.
• Stay on Hwy 620 for about four and a half miles. You will pass Boulder Lane on your left. It horseshoes around and intersects with 620 a second time. Concordia University Drive immediately follows the second Boulder Lane stop light. Turn left onto Concordia University Drive and wind along this road until you come to a sharp dip in the road. Continue on until you reach the front entrance gate. The guards will pass you through and direct you to parking lot B.
