William E. Hamm, President

Bill has served Lutheran higher education in a variety of roles: as admissions counselor and associate director of admissions at Wartburg College; as vice president for university relations and admissions at California Lutheran University; as president of Waldorf College in Forest City; and most recently, at Wartburg College as Interim President. He served from 1999 to 2008 as president of the Foundation for Independent Higher Education in Washington, D.C., working with a national network of 34 state and regional associations to secure resources and develop collaborative programs within its network of 650 private colleges and universities.

Laurie Brill, Director of Marketing

Laurie received her BA and MA from Lenoir-Rhyne University. She began her
career in the admissions office at Lenoir-Rhyne and served as admission
counselor, assistant director, and associate director of admission. Laurie
worked as a high school college counselor in the Boston area before joining the
Lutheran Educational Conference of North America. She served as Director of
College Fairs and now serves as Director of Marketing for LECNA’s 41 member
colleges and universities.

Wendy Hoyne, Director of Business Operations

Wendy received her BA from Creighton
University, Omaha, NE. Her career began in the accounting and finance staff at
Peter Kiewit & Sons' Inc. She is currently a CPA and owns and operates her
own business in Sioux Falls, SD. She serves as the Director of Business
Operations for Lutheran Educational Conference of North America.
