« Research That Will Help You »

Why is choosing a college so much tougher than buying a car? Before you buy a car, you have access to an array of information ranging from top-end speed to fuel efficiency, from reliability to previous owner satisfaction. You can make a good choice because you know what to expect. Have ANY of the colleges or universities you've considered provided ANY information on the outcomes of their degrees? Until now, virtually no information existed.

In 1998 and updated again in 2004, 39 Lutheran colleges sponsored a massive, nationwide research project to assess the educational effectiveness of Lutheran colleges in comparison to other sectors of higher education. The study looked at the undergraduate experiences and outcomes of several thousand graduates from nearly 800 colleges and universities.
